Mike Herchel is a co-founder of Dripyard premium themes with more than 18 years in the Drupal community. A longtime core contributor, he’s best known as the lead developer of Drupal’s default Olivero theme and for helping bring Single Directory Components into core, shaping the future of Drupal’s front end. As Drupal core’s CSS subsystem maintainer, Mike helps set standards and guide architectural decisions to keep Drupal fast, accessible, and maintainable. He’s worked on major projects for organizations like Syfy, the U.S. Small Business Administration, IBM, and the U.S. Court System. A former Drupal Association board member and longtime Florida DrupalCamp organizer, Mike also speaks regularly at Drupal events, sharing his passion for accessibility, performance, and modern front-end development.
